Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The Muddy River Art Association will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6:00 PM on at the Community Arts Cafe, 411 West Fourth Street, Winston-Salem, NC. C.A.C. Owner, Jim Tedder, will give a program on his business' mission as well as the new and exciting things in store for artists in the future.
The mission of The Community Arts Cafe is to encourage development of and sharing in the artistic expression within the local community for educating and enriching the lives of everyone. C.A.C. is a community building concept and publication for promoting the local arts of any community. Founded as a magazine and internet community in 2006 and established as a physical entity in 2009 with the Gallery of the Arts. The Arts Underground opened in July of 2010 and the Cafe Theater is projected for 2011 to provide a comprehensive package of resources and platforms for developing and presenting local arts to the community.
The program is free and open to the public.
