Cindy Taplin begins her paintings with a plan because it's a way to get some paint on the canvas. However, she rarely sticks to the plan.  She likes to surprise herself.  Each time she starts a painting her goal is to create a piece of art that she wants to look at over and over again.  A painting is finished when it hangs on her wall for a few days and she smiles  as she walks by it.  See more of Cindy's work at www.cindytaplin.net
