I get bored easily. I'm sure some people can identify! I dabbled in painting for seven years by taking an acrylic painting class locally. I enjoyed it immensely, but then I got "painter's block" - something like "writer's block". I started watching quilt shows on TV and a new world opened up for me! I immediately ruled out traditional quilting and found a world with hundreds of techniques and possibilities. Instead of painting on canvas, I paint with fabric and never seem to get bored! The choices in fabric alone keep my attention; second to thread choices and embellishments. I've been playing in this world for the last seven years.
